A NEWLY REIMAGINED “UNPOLITICALLY CORRECT .ORG” IS COMING!

WE NEED TO UNITE AS A HISTORICAL COUNTRY AND PROTECT THE MELTING POT CULTURE OF OUR FOUNDERS
We at unPC are going to go through some changes in our format and the way we present our blog information. We want to get more feedback from our subscribers on what we or they write, and what they would like to see us discuss.
As many of you may know, I, Patrick G. Lockhart, have been the Founder, Editor, and owner of unPC and many other Pay it forward companies, since 2016..
Since 1968, I have been a registered, highly fiscally conservative Democrat a moderate-to-liberal believer in a large safety net. Yes, I’m old. However, as of the end of 2025, I am no longer a Democrat. I was waiting for the Democratic Party (which for the last 30 years I criticized greatly for their corruption and waste) to blow apart and return to the party I originally joined. I finally realized they will never do that.
So, what do I consider myself now? An Independent! The Republican Party is much closer to the party I joined representing the working man and taking care of neighbors who cannot take care of themselves. The government’s job should be to give us the opportunity to thrive, not to make us dependent if we are capable of working.
For 30 years, I have voted conservative but stayed socially moderate; in my early days, I did a great deal of charity development and support. What has me truly disappointed at all levels of government is that the more money we raise through borrowing and taxes to help others, the more money is stolen—supported by the Democratic Party (not all of them, of course). The majority of it never reaches where it is needed. This realization threw me because the details weren’t truly obvious until the 2016 election of President Trump, and his reelection in 2024 with the help of Elon Musk and DOGE to put a larger crack in the “Swamp.”
We see this at every level of government: Federal, State, City, and County. I believe most governments could lower their costs by 25–40% if we performed thorough forensic audits on all of them.
We also need to let the private sector take over the social safety net for the poor, the homeless, and all areas where a citizen cannot help themselves. This would require tax incentives for the wealthy to participate, but they must remain at risk via monitored donations to vet everything and everyone involved. They must be involved, not just write checks—accountability is a must. No more big checks to organizations or NGOs; whoever is funded should get no more than 10% of their budgeted money at any time until they prove it was used as intended.
As an economist by education, I believe that the more we can privatize government tasks, the better off we will be. The more billionaires and millionaires we have, the better; they currently pay 75% of all federal taxes. This lightens the load on the middle class. The states are the biggest problem regarding middle-class taxes. Besides a few states like Florida, have you ever seen one lower its budget?
Again, the main premise that kept me a Democrat was, and is, totally flawed. I did enjoy debating Democrats and then telling them I was one; the look on their faces was always interesting. I don’t like the Far Right or the Far Left, but the Dems are beyond what we used to call “far left”—they are beyond redemption.
We have added a new way for you to comment or even write something we might publish. There are no guarantees, but we hope you will try. Send your thoughts to: solutions@unpoliticallycorrect.org. SHIFTING OUR ATTITUDE TO SHIFT THE WORLD
Shifting Our Attitude

The longer we live, the more we should realize how much impact attitude has on people’s lives. A person’s attitude is more important than education. It’s more important than money, circumstances, failures, successes, appearance or skill. It’s especially more important than what others think, say or do. The attitude of everyone involved will make or break a company, church, home – or a Country.

The change starts by shifting our focus. Once others start focusing on the issues instead of gossip and their own special interests, and listen, attitudes of the people will start to change. The silent majority will wake up, become proud of their actions and get involved in helping others, not just themselves.

In turn, our attitudes will continue to shift, and they’ll start working harder to agree instead of disagree; we are much more similar than we are different, and we need to look for those similarities first. This will allow us to debate at a civil level. This cycle will continue, moving us and our country closer to actually fixing our problems, with workable solutions. We don’t need to always agree, we need to listen and tolerate the opinions of others.

The remarkable thing is that this change is something that we, as individuals can control, and can do it every day. We always have a choice regarding the attitude we embrace. We cannot change the past, or the fact that other people will act or believe in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. But we can change our attitude. And we’re the only ones who can change it. Learn “how to think” instead of being told “what to think." Do you like being a follower?

We at Unpolitically Correct are convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. So change how you react to all the things in this world we can, and you might just change the World itself. Hopefully, our leaders and influential people will lead us in this effort.

There is a prayer that we recommend to all, religious or not, that helps going into and coming out of uncomfortable situations, where solutions are being sought.

The Serenity Prayer
God (optional) grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.
