I know the average American citizen and voter, of any party, wants less crime. The fact that because Trump is finally doing something about it we are against it? I wish the Democratic Party did something about this over the last 30 yrs, but they didn’t.
They are calling President Trump a racist for doing this? He’s gone into the state capital that’s 87+% black and 90% didn’t vote for him to save their lives first, highly disputes that theory. This further enforces the lack of common sense in my party when it comes to what do they stand for? As a 56-year Conservative Democrat, one of the 20% of Democrats that voted for Trump, I think today it would be well over 30% if the election were held today. The Democratic Party is losing more members than ever to any other party.
Have you noticed that the paid protesters in DC by the Democrats are 95%+ white? Either the black population doesn’t agree with their position, or are not trusted by the paid protester organizers—probably both.
Washington DC is not a city; it’s our nation’s capital, which should have no elected officials. It needs a manager that serves at the will of all Americans and can change with whoever is president, giving the Dems less total influence on corruption, crime, and waste in DC. Can you imagine what dodging DC would reveal?
The Republican Party today has the platform I joined in 1968—it was called the “Democratic Party.” I’ve been waiting and wishing for the Dems to blow apart (which they are) and be put back together, while I do my part to expose the wrongdoing of all parties. It looks like I’m going to get my wish, but I may not live long enough to see the possible reconstruction.
