These mass shootings are horrible and the responsibility of the crazy people doing them. But most of these lives can be saved if we have action plans that don’t Include protocols and cowardliness, many lives are lost by one person of authority, that shouldn’t be in his job. We tell our teachers and students to run toward a shooter, because we have a better chance to save lives, why aren’t the so called professionals, outside listening to gunshots killing our children immediately doing the same. The same happened in Las Vegas, where many people died because, the security and police didn’t go after the shooter immediately. These travesties are also being covered up, to protect the guilty professionals, and by lawyers, defending possible lawsuits. We can do better, but must have a national discussion, on the right thing for the first person on the scene, not more Protocols?
